Our world is constantly changing. Today, we’re facing newer changes due to the covid-19 pandemic. Soon enough, we’ll face newer changes post-pandemic. Even in the far future, we’ll be facing new challenges. We cannot always predict change, but we can prepare ourselves and our organization to overcome the challenges that always comes with change. The key is to constantly learn to prepare for any challenge.
.
Let’s look at the recent pandemic as an example. Before the covid-19 outbreak happened, organizations already implemented digitalization in the way they run businesses. There was constant talk about AI and machine learning and how in the future of work, we might be able to work remotely. But, because of the pandemic, we were forced to accelerate our digital transformation plans. We were prepared, but not prepared enough.
.
We must be proactive from today to face future change better. The first step is to understand how our world would be like post-pandemic and learn from that how we can survive those changes.

People may be more cautious than before. Whether it is hygiene or purchasing goods or even eating out, people’s behaviors have changed due to the impact of the covid-19. People’s priorities would definitely change. The way the purchase goods and services have shifted during the pandemic. There was a rise in online shopping and delivery. Post-pandemic, people may continue to do some transactions online due to its convenience.
.
Businesses may no longer run the same way. During the pandemic, many had to rethink and reframe their businesses to survive the drastic impact it imposed. Small businesses may have felt a stronger impact during the pandemic and will surely face even greater challenges post-pandemic. Like people, businesses will no longer be the same.
.
When we face change, it does impact the way we see things; thus, it impacts the way we think about things. Our mindset might shift and how we see things will never be the same as before.
